Why is my Employee Journal Area Blank?

I've been recording employee actions (late clock in, missed work, etc) but when I go to employee journal the area is completely blank. No employees show or anything. How do I view everything entered regarding that employee?

Do you know whether a system modification has been implemented here? I have seen a lot of modifications made by partners around the approval fields. Probably this is an option to check in addition.
