Why cant I as owner enable a certain setting

I understand admin and owner have same privilege but I am the owner and trying to make security changes and it says an admin must make these changes. How do I do this?

Hi, 
The Owner's email ID should have overall control over the entire account. The only reason for receiving the error you've described is because you've possibly logged in with an Employee Account. It is very common for clients to initially sign up with an email address, then add themselves as an employee as well. Please email us the following: 

1. Your name (first,last)
2. Email Address/ or email ID
