Yes you can assign multiple employees to a checklist, however at this time you can not assign entire checklists at one time. You will need to manually assign the employees to each task within the checklist. You do this by clicking into the checklist and next to each task there is an icon that looks like the outline of a person. Then you will be able to assign the tasks to either an individual employee or an entire employee type (manager, supervisor, and crew).
